Congratulations to Kim Proven of the Loch Earn Tourism Initiative. Kim has been working with LETi on an art trail to promote the four tourism villages at the north end of the Trossachs in Year of Innovation Architecture and Design 2016.

The trail is using existing works like Still, The Lookout and the installation on Loch Lubnaig and will join them together with other installations and guest works on loan. There will be a few ornamental features including Stan the Stag in her garden at Lochearnhead.

Guest artists include Kevin Paxton who created the thistles at Edinburgh airport.

Bill the Bull (pictured) will sit proudly outside the Lochearnhead Hotel.

Bill the Bull has been helping to raise money for The Ripple Retreat being built on Loch Venachar for cancer patients and families that need a break from the routine.   Third year Perth College students will work on conceptual art and pitch ideas in September before creating chosen works on the Loch Earn lochside.

Kim is working towards a launch date of April 27 at The Broch cafe in Strathyre for the trail.

Other artists include Rob Mulholland, June McEwan, Heather Gray and Lynne Shroder working in steel, galvanised copper and wicker.
